Dalmia Cement to merge its cement, power with Dalmia Bharat Enterprises

New Delhi : Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd has informed that it is going to merge its cement, power and refractory businesses into its Dalmia Bharat Enterprises. The new unit is going to be listed on the stock exchange by this year.

DCBL has been in cement production since more than seven decades. It has also announced that its shareholders will get 1:1 share of the new entity that is going to be formed. That means for each hold share of Dalmia cement, the shareholders are going to get one more.

Managing Director of Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd, Mr. Puneet Dalmia has anticipated that such merge will undoubtedly boost the production as well as will accelerate growth. The company's fire power is also expected to be increased.
