JSW Steel: Eliminating export tax helps in global competition

The elimination of India's export tariffs on intermediate steel products will greatly help domestic companies to compete in international markets, JSW Steel's Chief Financial Officer Seshagiri Rao MVS recently stated.

After months of complaints from miners and steelmakers about missed sales opportunities abroad, India lifted export tariffs on low-grade iron ore and some intermediate steel products.
