Technology talks at the 16th IMME

Organized by CII, the 16th edition of the International Mining and Machinery Exhibition (IMME) - India's only mining industry exhibition - was held between 16 and 19 November 2022 at Rajarhat in Kolkata.

The mining industry is key to India's $5 trillion growth ambition. With the government recently implementing some crucial reforms in the mining and coal sector under the Atmanirbhar Bharat package, mining is seen as a sector with the potential to boost growth, revenue and and employment.

Against this backdrop, IMME 2022 showcased the latest range of mining machinery, equipment, advanced technology solutions, services and supplies from India and abroad. Since its inception in 1984, IMME is the most prominent mining exchange that brings together the key players in the segment and contributes to the growth of the industry in India.
