The Panchkula government plans to build two road sections connecting Morni to the Himachal Pradesh border. In addition, all roads leading to the Morni area are being widened and orders for new road construction have been issued in some places.
To attract tourists, the Panchkula administration focuses on improving the infrastructure in the Morni block. In 2022, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced plans to make Morni a tourist destination, attracting visitors from Himachal Pradesh.
Roma Devi, a newly elected Zila Parishad Member from ward number 5, raised the issue of improving Morni's road infrastructure, noting that two stretches, a 7-kilometer stretch between villages Neemwala and Thadyo and a 5-kilometer stretch between Thandog village and Hathiya Mod until Kotan village on the Himachal Pradesh border, require special attention. In this regard, Roma Devi met with Haryana Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta and asked him to assist them in getting a better road on this stretch. Further, the Speaker directed the official to develop a plan and begin work on these two roads. Gupta stated, “Better roads in Morni helps children reach school easily, to provide emergency services in faster manner and to bring daily use items from the other places in a convenient manner.”
The officials of PWD (B&;R) said that the development of Morni's infrastructure was kept in the 'Vision Plan' while the information was being shared.
