Chennai airport upgradation on schedule

Chennai : The Chennai airport modernisation project worth Rs 2,300 crore by Airports Authority of India (AAI) is likely to open on schedule. Due to issues with the Defence forces, minor structural changes have been made to ensure that the project is completed on time. AAI had planned to make an air-condition plant room substation block in that space. However, now, the authority has partially changed the layout of that area.
