Yamuna bridge proposed for Metro phase 3

New Delhi : The construction of the stretch between hazart nizamuddin and mayur vihar phase 1 stations, part of the third phase of the delhi metro,will be on a bridge spanning the yamuna.the two stations will be over 4.5km apart and it would be the longest stretch on the network.

The third phase of the delhi metro that will connect mukundpur with yamuna vihar at 55.69km,will be the longest alignment on the metro network and will have around 10 interchange stations-the most so far.

A new station will be constructed above the existing mayur vihar 1 station to integrate the two lines.
