L&T awards contract to Pennar

Chennai : Pennar Engineered Building Systems (PEBS) has recently made a formal announcement declaring the company’s recent accomplishment in winning a huge contract for the construction of first phase for pre-engineered steel buildings for Chennai Metro Railway. The contract is awarded by L&T to Pennar Engineered Building Systems (PEBS), a wholly owned subdivision of Pennar Industries. Under the agreement, the company is expected to carry out the project and accomplish it in a time frame of two years itself where the company would be working on the design aspect as well as construction of it for the stabling yard, infrastructure shed, along with workshop buildings planned at Koyambedu in the city.
