NTPC Subsidiary Invites Bids to Develop Solar Project

The establishment of a 1.5 MW grid-connected solar project at IIM Bodh Gaya has been initiated to bid by engaged developers through NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC.

The design, engineering, supply, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of the solar energy projects are all included in the scope of work.

In addition, the selected developer will be responsible for installing the evacuation installation on the IIM- Bodhgaya substation, which meets the given capacity, obtains the approval of DISCOM for grid metering, and securing the necessary permits for the above-ground and underground transmission lines.

For a period of three years, the project requires the operation and maintenance of the solar energy system, transmission lines and other equipment.

In addition, it includes a ten-year annual maintenance contract (AMC) for the necessary equipment. Proposals must be submitted on or before 3 July 2023.
