Energy Efficiency Services (EESL) has invited bids for the supply of 28.72 MW polycrystalline solar panels with a wattage of 330 Wp and above for solar projects in Maharashtra. The last date to submit bids is August 8, 2023. Bids open on the same day.
Bidders must submit Rs 13.04 million ($158,908) as a serious cash deposit. The successful tenderer must submit an amount equal to 10% of the contract price as performance security within 28 days of receipt of the award notification. The modules must be delivered within three months of the award notification.
Only local Class I suppliers are eligible for tendering under this tender. The local content requirement to categorize a vendor as a Class I local vendor is at least 50%. Bidders must be manufacturers of solar cells or modules and have experience in producing and supplying at least 8.62 MW of solar panels with a capacity of 330 Wp and above during the past three years.
