The Board of Directors of Shriram Properties Limited has approved the appointment of Ashish Deora, Founder and CEO of Aurum PropTech Limited, as a Non-Executive and Non-Independent Director.
Over the last twenty years, Deora has built several companies and created value in multiple sectors, from mining to telecommunications, aviation and sustainable energy. He is the founder of Aurum Ventures, the parent company of Aurum PropTech, which aims to build India's largest integrated proptech ecosystem, and Aurum Real Estate, which is engaged in real estate development in the MMR region.
He is an alumnus of Harvard Business School and has a proven track record of strategic investments in companies in APAC, Africa and South America and successful exits to global capital allocators. Aurum recently acquired 14.37% share capital of Shriram Properties Limited.
