L&T Construction secures order for its transportation infrastructure business

L&T Construction's transport infrastructure arm has been awarded the Dahisar Bhayander Bridge project in Mumbai. The project has been awarded by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) for the construction of a 4.5 km long bridge that will connect Dahisar and Bhayander.

The project will reduce the travel time between Dahisar and Bhayander, which currently takes more than 45 minutes.

The 4.5 km link will have two separate carriageways and a multi-level interchange at Dahisar and Bhayander for seamless entry and exit. The project will also include two large boating areas along the creek.

L&T is already executing two packages of prestigious coastal road projects in Mumbai for the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM).
