Gujarat Housing Board seeks builders for group housing revamp

Gujarat Housing Board (GHB) has issued a tender for redevelopment of integrated group housing facility for Scheme in Gota, Ahmedabad district of the state.

The redevelopment will cover 2004 EWS at Mahatma Gandhi Colony, plus 1836 LIG and 87 shops. The indicative site plot area is 158,021.4 sq. mtrs. The value of the contract is Rs 418.76 crore. The land is to be utilised for redevelopment of existing public housing scheme component (PHC) and free sale component (FSC) and includes provision of housing along with basic civic infrastructure to eligible existing dwellers.

The project duration is 40 months including pre-construction period i.e. four months plus construction period of 36 months. The defect liability period (DLP) is set at seven years from the date of project completion. Maintenance will be limited to removal of defects noticed in the works during DLP.
