Yogi govt aims to tame Naxal stronghold with projects worth Rs 1.24 lakh crore in Purvanchal
 

The Uttar Pradesh government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is all set to implement on-ground development projects worth Rs 1,24,389 crore in the Purvanchal region, traditionally considered one of the most backward regions of the country. , during the next inauguration ceremony. GBC).

Interestingly, the maximum investment will be made in three districts of the region, namely Sonbhadra, Mirzapur and Chandauli, which were once considered Naxalite strongholds.

As many as 30 projects worth Rs 54,042 crore will be implemented in Sonbhadra, while 46 projects worth Rs 16,161 crore will be launched in Chandauli and 46 projects worth Rs 5,957 crore in Mirzapur.

It is worth mentioning here that Purvanchal, under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has become an area of special importance for today's entrepreneurs. The winds of development have started blowing in Purvanchal with the opening of a highway, airport and inland waterways, besides excellent rail connectivity in the region.

Apart from this, improved power supply, strengthening law and order and ending mafia rule have opened the doors to prosperity in Purvanchal. It is noteworthy that after successfully organizing the UP Global Investors Summit in February, the Yogi government is now busy preparing for the inauguration ceremony.

Interestingly, not only the large cities of Purvanchakl have attracted large investments, but also the smaller districts that have attracted the attention of investors. As far as major cities in Purvanchal are concerned, huge investments are planned in Varanasi, Prayagraj and Gorakhpur. Investments of Rs 13,949 crore, Rs 10,087 crore and Rs 7,041 crore will be made in Varanasi, Gorakhpur and Prayagraj through 105 projects, 249 projects and 130 projects respectively.

Similarly, among the other districts of Purvanchal, 85 projects are ready to take off in Ghazipur at a cost of Rs 527 crore, 90 projects worth Rs 2,299 crore in Jaunpur, 35 projects worth Rs 254 crore in Bhadohi, as well as 39 projects worth Rs 254 crore. projects worth Rs 929 crore in Mau. Additionally, 93 projects worth Rs 595 crore in Azamgarh and 33 projects worth Rs 1,586 crore in Ballia will be launched during the inauguration ceremony.

Apart from this, Rs 711 million will be invested in Deoria through 66 projects, Rs 635 million in Kushinagar through 54 projects, Rs 572 million in Maharajganj through 83 projects, Rs 484 million in Sant Kabirnagar through through 25 projects and Rs 1,339 crore in Basti through 90 projects.

Additionally, an investment of Rs 222 crore will be made through 45 projects in Siddharthnagar, Rs 5,367 crore through 55 projects in Pratapgarh, Rs 1,326 crore through 58 ready projects in Fatehpur and Rs 308 crore through of 30 projects in Kaushambi. The investment of Rs 1.24 lakh crore in Purvanchal will also create large-scale employment opportunities.
