L&T has announced the commissioning and delivery of three state-of-the-art gas plants to a customer in Algeria. This achievement marks a milestone for L&T as it launches its first venture in partnership with Sonatrach, Algeria's state oil company.
SN Subrahmanyan, Chairman and Managing Director of L&T, visited the facility along with other top executives of L&T and customers.
The SWGFD project, L&T's first mega project in Algeria, involved the comprehensive execution of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of gas treatment units at three Central Processing Facilities (CPF) in central Algeria.
Innovation played a crucial role in the success of the project. The factories have been designed and implemented with a fully modular approach, comprising over 750 modules, which have been manufactured in L&T's state-of-the-art factories. Particular attention was paid to standardization across all three facilities, to increase interchangeability and make the plant reusable.
India and Algeria have long-standing diplomatic relations characterized by mutual respect and shared values.
