State-owned REC and RailTel Corporation of India have inked an MoU committing Rs 30,000 crore for diverse infrastructure projects spanning telecom, data centers, railway and metro systems, and the KAVACH Train Collision Prevention System.
The MoU also explores potential financing for international ventures, particularly in high-speed rail, metro, IT networks, and railway network upgrades, aligning with RailTel’s current focus on infrastructure projects in Southeast Asia and Eastern Africa.
