Adani Enterprises plans to invest approximately $1.5 billion in its data center business, AdaniConnex, over the next three years. With annual capital expenditure expected to be around $500 million this year and the next two years, this move is expected to significantly strengthen the company's digital infrastructure capabilities.
It plans to build nine data centers by 2030, with the goal of reaching a total capacity of one GW. The move aims to meet the growing demand for digital services. The data centers are a recent addition to the company's portfolio and act as an incubator for the group.
Additionally, AdaniConnex, which operates a hyperscale data center in Chennai, has completed almost two-thirds of the construction of its facilities in Noida and Hyderabad.
AdaniConnex is a joint venture between Adani Enterprises and global data center provider EdgeConnex.
