Jakson Green, an energy transition platform, will launch its first green hydrogen electrolyser in a few months and is in an advanced stage of working with technology providers for manufacturing electrolyzers, said Bikesh Ogra, MD and CEO.
We are evaluating partnerships and have narrowed down a small group of companies that are currently being evaluated for various technologies, including PEM, AEM or alkaline,? he said in an exclusive interaction.
Ogra added that the company will ship its first electrolyzers in a few months and that full production will begin in the next fiscal year. These partnerships will apply to both manufacturing in India and abroad.
Therefore, we are in an advanced phase of collaboration with technology providers for the production of ecological hydrogen electrolyzers,? he said.
The company inaugurated a 100 megawatt (MW) electrolyzer manufacturing plant a few months ago, which it now plans to expand to a capacity of one gigawatt, Ogra said.
The company is also in contact with maritime shipping companies to supply them with green methanol in ports. ?We always want to target 8-10 percent of the total mix of total production of green molecules in the form of methanol, ethanol,? he said.
