Amplus has successfully commissioned its 73.4 MWp Project Lakshmi, an intra-state open-access solar plant in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh.
Project Lakshmi is Amplus’s third solar open-access plant in Uttar Pradesh, following Project Mirza and Project Deoria. With this new project, Amplus’s total operational open-access capacity in the state now exceeds 200 MWp, strengthening its role as a leading clean energy provider for commercial and industrial customers in Uttar Pradesh.
Interconnected at the 132 KV Gursarai substation, Project Lakshmi will deliver substantial energy cost savings to Amplus’s clientele across the state. Additionally, the plant is projected to reduce CO2 emissions by 116716.1 tons annually.
