Hindalco is setting up an alumina refinery in a greenfield area in Rayagada, Odisha, which will complete its first phase of 850,000 tonnes by FY27. Additionally, the company is considering a 200,000 tonnes expansion at its Aditya aluminium smelter in Odisha. Hindalco has also secured long-term contracts for new beverage bottling capacity for its Bay Minnette project, which is scheduled to come on stream in the second half of 2026.
