ACE secures major orders from Ministry of Defence

In a fresh push to make India self-reliant in the defence sector through the ‘Make in India’ initiative, India’s largest crane company and leading construction equipment and manufacturing company ACE – Action Construction Equipment has secured an order for 99 special purpose forklifts with a lifting capacity of 3 tonnes from the Ministry of Defence (MoD).

The Indian crane company is committed to providing advanced solutions to India’s defence needs in difficult terrain. Under the recent agreement, the supply of 285 specialised forklifts and 6 rough terrain cranes with a lifting capacity of 30 tonnes is planned.

Commenting on the development, Mr. Dharmendra Singhal, Head of Institutional Sales, ACE said, “This order from the Ministry of Defence is a strong endorsement of the reliability and performance of our equipment. It underscores ACE’s commitment to contributing to India’s strategic objectives under the ‘Make in India’ and ‘AatmaNirbhar Bharat’ initiatives. We look forward to supporting the country’s defence infrastructure with advanced, purpose-built solutions designed to meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.”

“We received work orders worth Rs 66 crore within a month, which shows strong potential for our business in this area,” he added.

The new order for 99 specialist forklifts will significantly increase operational efficiency and effectiveness in demanding conditions, reinforcing ACE’s commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality equipment. The forklifts and rough terrain cranes will be deployed to enhance the operational capabilities of the Department of Defence, providing robust and durable solutions for a variety of critical applications.

ACE offers a wide range of forklift trucks designed to meet the diverse needs of various industries. The forklift trucks can handle capacities from 1.5 to 16 tonnes, for light to heavy-duty tasks. The company strives to provide purpose-built forklift trucks for each unique application, backed by a dedication to quality and customer satisfaction.
