Surging activity gives boost to construction chemicals says official

Mumbai : Surging construction activity and the foreign direct investment in the realty sector have given a fillip to the construction chemicals market in India, said S.C. Gupta, Joint Secretary, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals of the Union Government.

Even though the end users were unaware of the construction chemicals usage and its benefits, the industry was growing at a rate of 10 per cent. It is estimated that the life of the Indian construction chemical industry would last at least for 20 years, Mr. Gupta said.
