Bhilai Steel chooses Gillanders Arbuthnot and Bricmont India for reheating furnace

Kolkata : KOLKATA: Bhilai Steel Plant has chosen a consortium comprising Gillanders Arbuthnot & Co and Bricmont India to execute a contract for installation of reheating furnace for the steel plant's forthcoming Universal Rail Mill.

The contract, worth Rs 75.81 crore, is part of Bhilai Steel Plant's modernization and expansion plan and will be completed within 21 months. Bhilai, one of the most profitable plants under state-owned SAIL, is the largest supplier of rails to Indian Railways.
