Eco-Friendly Thermolastic Protective Coating

Mumbai : Thermacoat™ is an advanced water based acrylic latex coating that is temperature insulating and acts as a water proofing barrier coating. It is cost effective, easy to apply and can save 30% or more in energy costs. While other 'white' / elastomeric coatings generally provide energy savings by reflecting sunlight, Thermacoat saves energy in two ways. At the surface level it reflects back more than 80% sunlight keeping surface temperature at or about ambient air temperature. Secondly, its insulation equivalent to R-5 or better, reduces heat or cold conduction into the interior of the structure. Thus a 10-12 mil dry film coating will stabilize the interior temperature by 10 degr- ees or more. High bond and tensile strength makes it ideal for all types of roofs including asphaltic, cement, metal and wood surfaces. It is also suitable for use on vertical wall surfaces, storage tanks, air conditioner ducts and more.

hermacoat provides 30% plus savings in energy costs since structures baking in the sun' s heat are expensive to cool and experience accelerated deterioration. Thermacoat blocks the sun's ultraviolet rays extending the structures useful life expectancy. In cold climates it provides energy savings by keeping the heat in and the cold out. Aside from insulation, Thermacoat has exceptional bond strength with substrates, high tensile strength and greater abrasion resistance. It is also a superior water barrier with improved resistance to ponded water. Unlike other white reflective coatings, Thermacoat can be tinted in pastel shades without losing its efficacy.
