Mumbai : Shifting gears: L&T on a make-over drive Shortly after separating its over five dozens business ventures into nine self reliant companies, the engineering and construction giant Larsen & Toubro (L&T), is currently switching its focus over to joint ventures (JVs) and is contemplating to exit joint ventures wherein it is not a majority stakeholder.

These company is currently focusing on two joint ventures covering its machinery and industrial products divisions and is reportedly talking to US agriculture and construction equipment player Case Corporation, which has been renamed as CNG after its merger with New Holland. L&T and CNH have forged a 50:50 joint venture named as L&T Case Equipment Private Limited, which manufactures loader backhoes, vibratory compactors and other earthmoving equipment..
