GSPL bags Rs.12,500cr pipeline orders

Mehasand : The state government’s owned Gujarat State Petronet Limited led consortium has been awarded the contract to build gas pipeline network from Andhra Pradesh to Jammu and Kashmir. The gas pipeline laying project, which has been awarded by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) at an investment of Rs. 12,500cr, will crisscross through Mallavaram in AP, Vijaipur in MP, Mehasand in Gujarat, Bhatinda in Punjab and also Bhatinda-Srinagar trunk pipeline network.

In the consortium the GSPL owned 52 percent stake and other stake holders include 26 percent IOC while BPCL and HPCL hold 11 percent each in the project with a length of over 4,000km.
