Mumbai : The multi-crore SpeakAsia scam just grew bigger, with the interrogation of atop image management guru, lobbyist and PR firm owner for his suspected role in the scam. Investigators questioned Dilip Cherian, the co-founder and consulting partner of Perfect Relations, in Delhi on Sunday.

The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Mumbai Crime Branch on Friday arrested the chief operating officer of SpeakAsia, Tarak Bajpayee, along with three others for defrauding more than 13 lakh investors of over Rs 1,300 crore. Sharma has been on the run ever since the scam came to light. The Enforcement Directorate and the Income Tax Department are also investigating the case along with other state police units.
