ACC, Ambuja post higher sales despite monsoon

Mumbai : Despite monsoon, leading cement companies have reported higher sales in July, with ACC reporting over 28% rise and Ambuja recording more than 14% growth year-on-year. Leading cement maker ACC said its July sales rose to 2 million tonne against 1.56 million tonne in the same month last year, recording a growth of 28.21%, while Ambuja Cements' sales rose to 1.7 million tonne over 1.49 million tonne, a growth of 14.09%.
