New Delhi : UltraTech Cement Ltd. on Tuesday announced its financial results for the fiscal fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2011.The results have been recast to take into consideration the numbers from Samruddhi Cement for like-to-like comparison. Thus, they are strictly not comparable to the year-ago period.

The Profit Before Interest and Tax (PBIT) stood at Rs. 9.04bn for Q4 FY11 as against Rs. 8.58bn in the same period of last year.

Net sales for the reporting quarter stood at Rs. 44.90bn versus Rs. 42.06bn in the same quarter a year earlier.
