Toto looks at Indian suppliers for Halol plant

Mumbai : Japanese sanitaryware maker, Toto Global Group is looking at Indian equipment suppliers and civil contractors for its proposed manufacturing facility in Halol, Gujarat. By doing this, the company expects to bring down the installation cost by at least 50 per cent against bringing the machinery from other countries.

The company has already started inviting quotations for supply of plant machinery and civil works from different players from across India. The company intends to finalise the contractor by November and the plant construction is expected to start from December 2011 onwards.
