Realty fantasy: Prices dip in western Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad : Sep 9, 2011, 12.07AM IST:A slowdown in economy and increasing interest rates have put pressure on realty rates in Ahmedabad for the first time since January 2010.

Even as property prices rose marginally in Ahmedabad, rates fell in the western and northern parts of the city. This trend is revealed in Residex data, brought out by the National Housing Bank (NHB), a subsidiary of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
