The lean manufacturing practice line was inaugurated by Director of Mahindra Institute of Quality Anjanikumar Choudhari in the presence of Rane Group Chairman L Ganesh, a company statement said here.
With the commissioning of the new line, REVL has further strengthened its position as a valuable partner to the farm equipment sector, it said.
LPS is an initiative that would help the company ensure its survival for some more years and improve productivity manifold, Ganesh said.Rane Engine Valves reported a turnover of Rs 234 million for the 2009-2010 fiscal, with 33 per cent revenue coming from overseas market. It has five manufacturing facilities in India and has over 55 per cent market share in the country, the release added.
