Balmer to foray into Rs 1,800-cr construction chemical biz

"We have decided to get into construction chemicals as diversification of chemical business. This is done with Chinese technology," Balmer Lawrie Chairman and Managing Director SK Mukherjee said here today after the company's annual general meeting.

"We are also planning to form a marketing joint venture with the Chinese as a technology partner in a year's time," he added.
