This Buddha statue is located in the middle of an artificial lake in the city of Hyderabad, India. This statue stands 17 meters tall and weighing 320 tons. This is India's largest monolithic statues, carved from a large rock. Tragically, at the time of installation of the statue of Buddha in 1992, the statue fell into the lake and causing 8 workers died. The Government then repair the statue, and now it has become one of the tourist attraction in the city of Hyderabad.
