Hemanta Basu Sarani,Pratap group was established in 1968, under the able leadership of Mr. J C Agarwal and Mr. S S Jindal. Ever since its inception, the company has grown in leaps and bounds. The Group came into being with the manufacturing of PVC Hose Pipes.
Later, in 1984, it started manufacturing HDPE/PP Woven Fabrics and Sacks with an annual capacity of 300 MT. Today, the group has increased its capacity to 24,000 MT. The group specialises in Cement Bags, Sugar Bags, Leno Bags, Agricultural Bags and also offers BOPP Bags and BOPET Sequence Rolls.
In 1992, the Group ventured into the manufacturing of Texturised POY in Surat, Gujarat and further expanded the production in Daman, Gujarat.
In 2006, the Group entered the Non-Woven market and has production capacity of 6,500 MTPA of Spunbond Non-Woven fabrics.
