NMCG, BUIDCO, Adani sign concession agreement for STP in Bhagalpur

National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG), Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (BUIDCO) and Adani Enterprises Limited have signed a concession agreement in JV with Organica Technologia Zrt, Hungary.

The agreement has been signed for the development of Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) for Bhagalpur based on a public-private partnership (PPP) hybrid annuity model. The project was awarded at a total cost of Rs 385.09 crore.

Director General of NMCG, Rajiv Ranjan Mishra, ED of NMCG, Ashok Kumar Singh, the representatives of BUIDCO and the concessionaire were also present. It was signed by the director of NMCG, Vindo Kumar, executive engineer of BUIDCO, Amlendu Kumar Ranjan and authorized concessionaire, Akchhyakumar Singh.
