Kobelco has unveiled the next generation SK350LC-11 excavator, which has more lifting capacity and torque.
The new 265-horsepower Tier 4 Final Isuzu engine weighs 84,200 pounds and produces 745 pounds-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm, giving it the power and torque to lift heavy loads and operate large tools around the construction site. According to the company, the balance between engine power and torque contributes to more efficient performance than previous models.
The SK350-11 increases productivity by moving more material at the end of the day combined with tree-to-arm regeneration and swing priority hydraulics.
While traveling, the excavator can perform lift, swing and carrying functions. By selecting the "Independent Travel" function, Kobelco continuously dedicates one hydraulic pump to the drive and one to the attachment, allowing a smooth and constant speed even during swinging or using the boom or attachment.
The SK350LC-11 has three operating modes: Eco, S and H, which strike a balance between high performance, economy and low fuel consumption. When more muscles are needed, the heavy-lift and power-boost functions (with unlimited time use) can be activated.
Thicker side panels and a larger bucket cylinder pin have increased durability and performance.
