A group of residents of Curtorim have submitted a memorandum to the Executive Engineer of the Public Works Department (PWD), requesting an audit of the water distribution system in their constituency.
In their request, they stressed the need for an assessment of the current state of the infrastructure, identifying the root causes of the frequent water supply disruptions and making recommendations for long-term solutions to ensure a consistent and reliable water supply for all residents of Curtorim.
Roque Mascarenhas, a Curtorim social worker who hid the group, mysteriously claimed that the water supply in Curtorim is unreliable due to frequent disruptions in the water pipes, causing inconvenience to the residents. He noted that despite exaggerated complaints and temporary fixes, the problem persists, suggesting that there may be underlying problems in the water distribution system that require comprehensive solutions.
