Berke Ptosis clamp helps in holding the levator tendon securely while it is being freed from its several attachments. It prevents the twisting of the traction sutures inserted into this tendon during the surgical procedure. Berkes Ptosis clamps have horizontally aligned J-shaped blades. for grasping and holding the levator tendon securely. The length of the blades is 20 mm so as to facilitate the clamping of the whole muscle length. Corrugations are arranged parallel to the long axis of the blades to prevent the slipping of the muscles. Corrugations are fine and reciprocal to prevent muscle damage. A sliding attachment lock of the blades helps in the secure locking of the clamp to prevent the slipping of the levator muscle.
