This Aluminium soldering flux is perfect to solder aluminium with a regular soldering iron and solder wire. Just use one drop on the aluminium surface before soldering and you can solder with ease. The solder joint is very strong and the flux residue is easy to clean. Since the flux is viscous , it can pe easily poured in smallest quantity without spilling it. PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION BELOW FOR SOLDERING ALUMINIUM PROPERLY: 1.Use a very high wattage soldering iron of 75 watts or better 100 watts. 2.The Tip of your soldering iron must be very clean and should not have any residue on it. 3.The tip must be excessively pre tinned by soldering lead for easy transfer heat. Use regular 63/37 Soldering lead. 4.File or sand the aluminum parts to expose fresh clean aluminium surface and remove anodized coatings 5.Heat up the aluminium parts that you want to solder to about 400 degree C. 6.For bigger aluminium parts like L-angles, buss bars , sheets etc, use a blowtorch or cloth iron box or a hot air blower/hair dryer to pre heat the aluminium parts and then solder them immediately after they are pre heated. 7.Once the bigger aluminium parts are heated pour a few drops on the heated surface and immediately touch with the pre-tinned soldering tip to solder the aluminium parts. 8.For thin strips, which can easily heat from soldering iron, pour a drop of flux on the aluminium surface and touch the pre tinned soldering tip on the aluminium surface where the flux was poured. 9.It will be difficult to solder with regular 25 watt or 35 watt soldering iron and the joint may be a cold joint if it solders at all. 10.Carry out the soldering in a well ventilated area and do not inhale the fumes from the flux 11.
