Aluminum Oxide is a fast, versatile and economical cutting abrasive. Aluminum Oxide is the second hardest mineral on Earth, second only to diamond. Aluminum Oxide can be used in wet and dry blasting applications for cleaning, deburring, etching and finishing. Aluminum Oxide is ideal for etching the surface of glass as its hardness is greater than glass. Aluminum Oxide wont break down as fast as glass blasting media and has a longer cycle life than most blast media.
