It can also be placed out of reach of children, high on a door, so they cannot open the door themselves and enter or exit into dangerous areas. This door loop lock is constructed of a nickel plated hardened steel locking rod with a diecast bracket and keeper with a chrome plated finish. Its strong and durable, sure to last, and installation is quick and easy. All installation fasteners are included, and it is designed to secure to door to the jamb. This home security device is also available in 1-1/8 in., 1-3/16 in., 1-7/16 in., and 2-1/4 in. reaches.
