Product Description :
Graptosedum Francesco Baldi Succulent Plant This reddish-colored rosette succulent with very thick leaves grows well via leaf propagation. The compact rosettes are similar to Echeveria. As a typical succulent, the 'soak and dry' method is perfect for this desert plant. Water your Graptosedum consistently during the growing season and cut back in the winter. When watering, completely soak the soil. This will allow your Graptosedum to store what it needs for the next drought Graptosedum Darley Sunshine has thick green leaves with red tips that form a rosette. This variety spreads like a sedum with the rosettes growing out on the ends of long stems. Darley Sunshine will tolerate some shade but hold back on the water more than if it was in full sun. Graptosedum has a clump-forming habit and grows to a height of approximately 15cm. They are generally easy to propagate, by seeds, leaf cuttings or offsets. If a leaf breaks off, it is likely to root and start a new plant. It can then produce a new rosette quickly. This plant can be grown from leaf cuttings. Pull a leaf from the main stem, leave it to dry for a day, then place it on the surface of the growing medium. The growing medium should be light and well drained, you can use a mixture of soil, sand and compost. The leaf will form roots and eventually, a small rosette will appear at the base. It requires minimum 10 degrees C temperature and partial sun to form roots and new growth. Remove and pot up the new plant when well rooted. Water the new plant regularly. The plant requires full sun for its pink coloration yet it would need partial shade from time to time. If you are providing full sun to your plant for the first time, start with an hour or two. Normally, the plant will want six hours of bright light per day. The plant is not frost-tolerant and it is best to keep it under the sun or on a sunny side. The USDA hardiness zone of the plant is zone 10a to 11b: from 30 degree 50 degree degrees Fahrenheit (-1 degree 10 degree C.
