Evobac - TD is a mix of specialised bacteria used for degrading various toxins in the effluent. They are effective in degrading solvents, detergents, disinfectants, pharmaceutical compounds, and more. This bacterial culture mix is designed specifically for pharmaceutical effluent and Hospital wastewater. However, it works in any effluent which has bacteriostatic and bactericidal compounds. The product is useful for effluents from R&D units, solvent-based downstream processing units, and large food manufacturing units that use chemicals to clean factory floors and equipment surfaces. If there are toxins in your wastewater that can kill microbes, you need Toxin Digester. Effluent from Hospital and Pharmaceutical units often has detergents, disinfectants, and drug residues in it. Such compounds are designed to kill microbes. When these chemicals enter the wastewater plant they either kill the general bacteria or severely slow down their growth. As a result, the microbial population is very low in the plant and the COD and BOD levels remain high. Such ETPs need specialised bacteria that can degrade such antibacterial compounds.
