Hydroton is round pellet structured produced by firing natural clay at temperature of 1200 degree Centigrade ,which is also known with other names in global market like Expanded Clay Aggregate, Ceramsite,Leca, clay aggregate Hydroton, Hydrocorn etc.
Mainly used for Hydroponics/Aquaponics ,indoor containers and flower boxes, Bonsai Cultivation, Aquarium, Roof garden, Green vegetables cultivation ,Irrigation,water filtering
Extremely stable in both pH and EC,Light weight,strong and thermally insulating.Hydroton has a spherical shape resulting from the pelletizing technique used.
Particle size : 2-8 mm, Water Absorption 18 to 20 % of size. Clay Aggregate has strong chemical resistance against acidic and alkaline substance, which helps to maintain the pH value of 7-9.
